mini-golf yo. slider had a similar idea, they were going to call it the world series of prop betting or something. if you search for the thread you might find some ideas.

plan it for around dec. 15-20 and i'll be there! or maybe mid jan.

BOOT - hm, I love beer pong / beirut but I think alot of it is about the drinking and how well you perform under duress (ie drunk).

Perhaps KBZ will weigh in on the matter, word on the street is he plays at an expert level.

Talking with Mr. Gatorade (aka Crazy Mike) we are coming up with ideas for a "non-sport" or "bar-sport" decathlon. If anyone has done anything like this in the past please chime in.

They did something similar at my old uni, except it was only over one evening and just four events, namely pool, darts, snooker and beermat flipping.

Brag: Won
Beat: Prize was a crate of Boddingtons cans, which taste like crap
Variance: Didn't previously know how to flip beermats well

How many bars have you walked into with a beer-pong game going?

Beer-pong is out. This is not a college dorm sport decathlon.

I am planning one of these now with a group of friends. Ours is going to be a 6-game event.

Minigolf
HORSE
Beer Pong
Cornhole
Darts
Bocce

How many bars have you walked into with a table tennis, skeeball, bowling, shuffleboard, horseshoes, or airhockey game going?

[/ QUOTE ]

Sorry - guess I'm a little unclear on your criteria based on your list.

shuffleboard is a bar game, if you are talking about the shuffleboard with teh little metal disks, and a long wooden contratption with a bunch of salt on it (my personal fav bar game, and the only one I play)

table tennis-- no way, beer pong is a much better "bar game" than ping pong...this isnt forrest gumps basement

skeeball-- no way, unless you are drinking at chuck e cheese

bowling- meh

horseshoes- debateable, but you might as well play washers

airhockey- I dont get to the exhilarama much

I like golden tee as a suggestion, that is pretty much exclusively a bar game, found at any bar.

Are you confusing clubs(dance) with bars? I am from old-school-like East Coast style bars but we would go to certain joints that had such things, all the things above (except maybe bowling). All American Legion/VFW/Eagle like bars have such things are well.
