NL 200 on FT. Sick spot in a blind battle.
Villain is 12.8/5.6/1.89 over 1.5k hands. Do I have to call this river? Thoughts on the whole hand?

Re: NL 200 on FT. Sick spot in a blind battle.
I dont like your preflop limp call, he is only raising premium hands so I raise then fold to a rr.
based on his PF you are behind AK, AQ, KK, QQ and only beat KQ or a bluff |

Assuming you did see the flop, do you play it the same and fold the river? Check call the flop instead? |

Re: NL 200 on FT. Sick spot in a blind battle.
ya his PFR raising range maybe wider but when you look at how he played and given his stats and your two calls it doesnt look like something like AJ where he would take a free show down, maybe a bluff but how often?
I think I would have either played it weaker, check call the flop, or stronger c/r either flop or turn but you seem to be in between. but I dont play 200 NL |

c/r flop. Lead/calling makes no sense....
I fold river cause you only beat KQ |

[/ QUOTE ] calling turn and folding river is a horrible line. if you put him on a hand THAT strong then just fold turn. and yes i think a good villain might fold a spade river depending on hero's image. |

agreed i dont like limp/call pf, why not open raise if you are going to limp call? i would probably c/raise flop given your line. I think the river is a definate fold given his line is pretty strong, and you only beat a bluff or KQ.Is villain going to be doing this with AJ considering that his AF is 1.89?
