Default Those who have had Coaching....

Could you please let me know if it is worth it? How much did it improve your game?

I am at the brink of getting a coach, but would like to hear some success/horror stories. Thanks for any replies.

Coaching helped me a ton. Before my coaching I could beat 1/2 fairly easily but I would always get crushed at 2/4. Since my coaching I've been a 2/4 reg for the last 2 1/2 months and have been beating the games for a decent amount and I'm on the verge of taking an extended shot at 3/6. Before coaching I played a somewhat nitty 19/16/3.5 style, after coaching I play a SLAG 23/19.5/4 style. So obviously my game has become more difficult to read. I would recommend coaching, it's definitely worth the money.

pokeriseasy, how did you go about your lessons? was it a standard 4-table live sweat?

is that really standard? whenever i've coached i've looked at hh's and we've discussed hands.

schwza i think that's MUCH MUCH more efficient but do you get a feel for the overall player? vacuumed hands are much more different than when they are played live if you kinda know what i mean.
