I have a couple ideas for extended posts that I'm rolling around in my head. Whether I get to them or whether the forum even has interest is another story but I'd like to do at least one of them this month.

As for poker maybe I'll try to track down the PNL and WITHG books to extend my learning of the game. The last book I bought was "Kill Phil" hoping it would have some hot tips for tournament play. It didn't really take since I prefer to play poker with seven cards rather than two. Now that I think about it, if someone can provide some good references for tournament play for small M factors and final table play when it gets down to 2-4 players I'd be grateful for the tip. I tend to do okay in working my way through a multi-table field but my small stack and late stage play is weak.

Ummm...ok.

1) Tilt less in the unlimited hold them
2) Read PNL
3) Spend Heidi Fleiss gift certificates from Gib
4) Move gouda at Foxwoods
5) Play g00t at 100NL and 200NL
6) Play more 6max limited hold them
7) Find a new job I guess
8) Purchase iPod w/ FPPs ship

Gogogogogogo gangbusters.

Find time to get in hands. Starting a new job + learning absolutely everything about that field = not much free time.

Assuming I succeed at the first goal, start building a bankroll again.

Resist the urge to play all the FTOPS satellites, first because I've realized I'm much better at the satellites than I am the actual tournaments, and second because I probably won't have time to play the events anyway.

Use my bathroom time to finish at least one of the poker books I have on backlog.

Become more active on this forum as I'm fully aware that my game needs retooling for these stakes. This should actually be the first goal.

2. Play g00t @ NL.
3. Post hands periodically in my Limit-->NL forum. Post advice on hands frequently. Get better.

One is a rumination on the concept of relative position and some of its applications. The other is on the subject of fear and its effect on us as poker players. The fear one is sort of generic and may not be all that useful but the relative position one could be a decent strat post.

Ah, yes, Harrington. I borrowed volume 1 from the library but never saw the other two volumes there or bought them for myself. Thanks for the reminder.
