Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad
CO open-raises, he's marked as 29/25/2 with attempt to steal 44% over 100 hands. Folds to me in the BB with Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. I reraise and he flat calls. Board is:
K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Really dry flop and I'm oop. Wonder if check-folding is the best play here or just a normal continuation bet is best over the long term. |

Usually fold preflop. Bet the flop.

Re: Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad
Wonder if anyone here is a cardrunners member and has seen the video where gaucho says continuation bets after reraises are generally overused, looking for opportunities to cut back

Re: Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad
This is a pretty good board to cbet. You're always betting AK here so...fire away.

Re: Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad
This is a very good place to cbet after a 3bet though. He folds all kinds of stuff. PPs AQ, AJ type hands. Pretty much anything that doesn't have a K in them.
C-bet and obviously fold to any further action. SMS |

Re: Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad
if you are only betting in this spot when you hit the flop hard this is an overall loser. 2/3-3/4 on flop.

Re: Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad
I'd fire here and fire pretty much any turn if called.

Re: Another Semibluff 3-bet turned bad
I think 3betting light OOP might be a bad idea if you're not bluffing on this flop.
