thoughts on:

1. the big 3bet preflop
2. the smallish cbet on the flop
3. the fact that one bet is on the large side and the next is on the small side (is "consistency" necessary here?)

do these things change based on my holding? do they change based on effective stacks?

The people who take one off with an underpair tend to do so regardless of the betsize, which is why I like to make a bigger bet.

Also, because my 3-bet range is rather small, I like to make good stabs with AK/AJ here.

A side-effect is that the bot gets bloated more which makes my bet-check-bet or bet-c/r line more likely, and thus I often get to see a free card.

another thing to consider is hero's/my 3betting range.

consider:

1. a wide range -- something like AQ+, every pocket pair, random suited cards and junk sometimes, etc.

2. the ranger of a tighter 3bettor -- AQ+, JJ+ or something

Fwiw I usually raise a bit smaller preflop and c-bet a bit bigger. About the same amount with all hands. I might change this depending on reads but in this case you have none.

If you were deeper, raising big preflop but leading the flop pretty small on a dry board would make more sense (like you did in this hand).

your 3bet size is a little bit large but you are out of position so depending on your hand its not a bad idea so as to increase your chance of taking the pot down immediately. Also i like a bigger 3bet with 66-JJ for the reason above as well as if you flop your set the pot is set up to be that much bigger. I like a standard 3-3.5x 3bet with QQ+ and AK, so the pot is slightly smaller and your hand is likely best so you are happier to have villain call against that range.

i think the smaller flop bet is likely to encourage villain to continue with any semblance of a hand, so i think that bet size is dependent upon your holding at the time. i think i am more likely to make a bigger cbet (2/3-3/4) with air and overpairs, top pairs.
