Yeah, 20bb/100 (10PTBB/100) is sustainable long-term for a good player if the games are soft enough. I've got over 50K hands at 0.50/1 and below and I'm averaging 27.8bb/100.

PTBB is usually the standard on this forum though and while you can easily hit 20 PTBB/100 for 10K hands or so if you're running well, I don't think that can be sustainable.

From your stats posted here and seeing you win AA53 vs AAJJds, I know you are running shortterm hot in allins. And that could help explain a big winrate shorterm.

I have an academic interest though in knowing how hot (+EV) one could possibly be for allins over the full 50k (or 20, 30k etc) hands. In theory, I think the allin luck should converge to a normal distribution after 100-150 allins (red vs blue lines in Allin luck on PokerEV). And then run pretty close to at EV thereafter.

Oh well, there goes my theory:

Over a randomly selected long time period, I'm running 56% of what I should be. I guess there are different types of allin, technically I'd have to go in a calibrate by effective stack size of the allin.

Just for fun in dollars:

I don't recall those hands exactly but I think that's when I was like "5/10 is pretty damn easy too bad I'm not really rolled for it."

It's also worth noting that your expected allin winnings on that graph is around zero dollars, which suggests you're doing some gambling.

[/ QUOTE ]
I think you have this wrong, my expected total earn if I had run exactly at expectation in all-ins is about zero dollars. So I am probably playing worse than normal anyway, which doesn't surprise me, but only bad enough to be about breakeven.

in other words, I'm sure I am doing some gambling, but I don't think that's evident from the graph

My apologies for the earlier misconstrued BB vs PTBB. I've sustained 8 PTBB/100 over my first 30K hands, and I'm not very good (yet) imo. So 10PTBB is easily within reach and not unrealistic at all.

You seem to be playing very weak-tight. Try playing and raising more hands PF (you should be playing at least around 30/15), semibluffing postflop, and making thinner value bets. Doing these things should help your game a lot.
