dee-oh is pretty funny.
I've come to expect some pretty inane things out of the Grizzlies announcers. They used to have some terrific announcers including a guy named Don Poier who moved from radio to TV who I considered one of the best I've heard. But he sadly passed-away mid-season a couple years ago and every combo they've tried since then have not been very good. The radio team is even worse than the TV guys. Since you just saw a TV broadcast I know this is hard to believe. But incredibly it is true.

I'm going to include stupid moments in sports-broadcasting in general as opposed to just what the announcer says.
NBC's football night just turned out all the studio lights I guess to conserve energy or something for their green week promotion. Ummmmm.....ok.
