This underachieving in life idea has been a recurring theme for Jim since season one. However, it was kind of pushed back now that he's with Pam, but IMO it's significant because he's realizing that what he's been fixated on for so long---winning over Pam, isn't going to solve the personal problems of his life.

He sees she's so content with what she's doing, and is thinking "this is it?"

I might be overanalyzing a 20 minute TV sitcom, but it's the way I see it. Either way, after the lackluster first 3 episodes, I'm very happy with the last two.

I just rewatched ep 4 again before ep 5. I don't get it. How can people think ep 4 was the greatest ep ever and be dissing ep 5? You people don't know what makes this show funny -- it's a caricature of ... AN OFFICE. That's what makes this show amazing.

That was hilarious. The whole commercial was awesome. Great episode.

It's the little subtle bits that make this show so amazing each episode should be rewatched a couple of times to really sink in imo.
