Howdy all, I'm not even bothering trying to get elite, but I have propped regularly for 5years now. LEt me just say that changing your play to earn more points is a bad idea. Just play the game that you enjoy the most, beat the most, and have the bankroll for.

PLaying in games you normally wouldn't for the sake of more points, or prop pay in my case, always leads to trouble.

It actually requires a pot to be $8.40 due to the way they calculate rake.

Although I have no proof, but I do believe I've seen a $7.60 pot with $.40 in the rake - which should be a VPP hand.

Pretty much 100% sure that is correct. Believe I have seen VPP's award on a $8 even pot ($7.60 to winner).

Maybe I'm wrong but I get the impression Supernova Elite is for guys like Hallingoll and Twin Caracas who regularly play the huge games. I doubt Stars ever intended it for low/mid-limit multitablers although I guess you can go for it if you're a sadist.

I was never going for SNE. Before they even came out with it, I decided that I'd be more dedicated in my poker play and try to put some solid hours in starting in the new year. I had previously never been higher than a silverstar. Getting goldstar after 5 days of play and half way to plantinumstar is a first for me.

I was just wondering where others are at. They can post their progress here through the year, and maybe let us know when they get burned out and give up as well. I suppose there will be a lot of these come March, maybe June.

Pot only has to hit $8 for a VPP at .50/1 and $10 for a VPP at 1/2.

Check your Poker Tracker and show me a Limit 1/2 hand that has $.40 rake taken from an $8.00 pot. The pot is raked $.25 at $5 and $.50 at $10. Their website is giving mis-information.
