FC Twin plays NES and SNES games

I did a search for this and I didn't find anything. Delete if you guys already know this since I don't usually visit POG.

If you go to ebay, you'll find a console that plays both NES and SNES games. The patent of both original consoles recently expired. I just got one and I've started play my old collection. Mario RPG is a totally new game to me and I'm addicted to that. I'm going to get Super Street Fighter II also. I'm also trying to get a working copy of Contra (I have two non working ones).

Ahhhh, reliving my youth. Feels good.

How faithful is it? I was reading the listing on an auction, and it says the NES sound is "immediately different."

Sounds tempting otherwise, heh.

For the price of one of those, you can get an NES, SNES, and a new 72-pin connector for the NES.

there is an alternative NES player that comes with the improved connector in it for like 30 bucks. I own it and it works great.

one big negative = 4-player adapter doesn't work with it.
