Concur. Ricky Davis' production drops significantly over the course of the year. Goes from 2nd option in Minnesota with a 1st option who wasn't a shothog (Garnett, now AlJeff)...to 3rd option behind NBA scoring title threat (Wade) and a big dog you need to feed (or something like that).

[/ QUOTE ]

Outside of Wade, who may not play the whole season, Miami needs scoring big time.

is this speculation or did you hear that? One of my fantasy leagues completely rests on wade's shoulders. if he's truly out ill try to scrape some value while i still can. from what i know, he'll be out 2 weeks.

Speculation. He's already hurt, he's by far their best scoring option and he takes a lot of big hits.

They really don't. The only time they'll need scoring is when injuries strike, which already puts a question mark around Davis' value he never had in Minny. Shaq is good for 17-18 and Wade is good for 25+; all they need Davis for is 15. The biggest problem isn't the points though, it's the assists and threes he won't get since he can't dominate the ball. Davis w/o the ball = not an effective Davis.

Shaq is always out, they don't have much other scoring from big men and their PG suck. I'm pretty sure Davis will have the ball a decent amount and I expect him to do pretty well.

Except Wade has the ball in his hands about 100% of the time.

Even if Shaq only plays half the games, that's half the time Davis' production is diminished... And if the team collapses and Davis by default the No. 1A option or whatever, that's a quick way to rape his percentages, get rid of all his threes and increase his turnovers.

Not happy at all with this as I was relying on Blount to be my 3rd(start 2) center.
