Default KQo in SB against CO raise (6max)

CO open raises (6max PFR=12% after about 75 hands) and button folds. BB is loose/passive preflop...but moderately aggressive postflop (again, not many hands). You have KQo in SB....????

Sounds like BB will not fold to a 3 bet, right? I like calling here.

Fold preflop. No Position and you are more than likely dominated with AQ or AK.

You might want to post this in the MUSH forum for better responses.

GoodOL: Your range for the CO is way too tight. It's probably more like any ace, any pair, any two broadways. I 3-bet this. I understand that 12% is a low PFR for 6-max, but it's also only a 75 hand sample.

Manolo: Folding is by far the worst of the three options. I don't think I need to explain why.

I learned that tight players will often raise with hands better than KQ also given his position in sb it is more than likly you are right and CO has a Ax which means KQ is behind. Why is folding the worst option?

If I had a large sample size on the villain, and he had something like a 15% ASB, then I'd consider folding. As is, he's basically an unknown, and there's no way I'm folding KQo to an unknown open-raising in the CO.

I thought it was pretty self-explanatory why you shouldn't be folding, but ok. I'll put it this way: if you're willing to fold KQo to unknown steals, I guarantee you'll be losing too much in the blinds to even have a chance of being a winning player. The fact that A2o beats KQo is irrelevant. 22 beats AKo, but are you just going to call AKo? Or fold? It's a losing play to call down with every Ax, hoping your opponent has KQ, or call down every pocket, hoping your opponent has AK.

If your read it is a steal than reraise if not i still think the right call is to fold. Position is everything. I would difently call in the BB considering I already have money invested and i have a decent hand.
