villians thought process "well, ive been playing pretty solid boring poker for the last 20 minutes.."

[/ QUOTE ]

This is a common nit/tag strategy:

A. Play standard nitty/taggy style. Do absolutely nothing creative for hours.
B. When this becomes too boring, figure out the most ridiculous, incorrect, horribly fishy way to play a hand that even a 84/38/5 would be shocked by.
C. Execute B. in a manner that absolutely 100% guarantees you will get to showdown and that all of the money goes in when you are drawing to 3 outs or less.
D. Suckout
E. ....
F. Profit
G. Repeat

Seriously at least once a day I get a hand like this against a 16/13/3 mega-nit and I'm almost positive I have never won.

[/ QUOTE ]
this cycle is honestly what has kept me profitable at poker
