I'm not sure I like the fold.
The fear is that he puts the rest of your chips at risk if you call. The 3 didn't change anything. He was planning on check raising the turn.
His possible hands:
89 (4 outs), flush draw (ahead), better 2 pair (2 outs), other straight draw, TP hand (ahead).

This is a tough spot. I think I would call, but I'm not very confident.

pretty disgusting spot you got yourself into here by limping on the button. limped pots are the devil. take advantage of your button and raise if you decide to play the hand. as played, i think folding is fine., i doubt he's doing nuts here w/like J8 or something.

I usually raise. Thanks for the help guys.

Turns out the guy is kind of a nit and I'm very happy with the fold.

Grunch. With the limp, 98 or a set of sevens is way more likely than say, AJ or an overpair to this board. Gotta fold here.

Why dont you guys like the button limp with 10-7 suited? I mean, in this situation it sucks but a lot of times you wont hit anything, or you will hit bottom two pair like this when someone doesnt flop a set/straight/whatever crazy hand villain has here.

limping = bad
limping on the button = horrendous

I find joy in pissing off habitual limpers?
