Yeah, I was thinking this at the time. I also overestimated the numbers of draws in his range so I went ahead and pushed. I think I played this very badly.

He insta-folded so I'm assuming his most likely hands are middle pairs like TT, 88, 77 and some T9 98 type hands. Does a turn check allow me to get any more value out of these hands? I'm not quite sure, but I do think a check is better.

Interesting, if I checked and he bet, it's a fold, right? Because it is incredibly unlikely that he will ever bet a worse hand on the turn.
