I don't care what people think. Poker is a game with many swings. I see people lose 100,000 dollars online in a day. I'm sure they win it back, but when you see someone sitting with 300,000 grand, it usually means they are only making about half that or maybe breaking even.
So based soley on poker winnings and not counting investments.. I'd take what the average person thinks and cut it in half. I'm sure the smart poker players invest alot of the money so it eventually comes back. My guess the most successful poker players have roughly 2 million to play poker with soley. Plus whatever they have in investments and money in savings accounts. And I think that's even being courteous.

Few others that I suspect have large bankrolls are Jennifer Harmon and Eli Elezra. Though Eli owns a bunch of buisinesses in Vegas. Key is how well they invested there bankrolls. Golds Bankroll I suspect is less than 3.5 million.

I would define money that you could move online within a short time to be bankroll. So your Vanguard or bank account money would be part of your bankroll. Money that you've payed into your house, car or a long term investment isn't.
For live single table play you don't need 100x the buyin to be comfortable. If you're playing 200/400 PL Omaha online consistently where you could lose 500,000 in a day pretty easily, you should probably be worth atleast 4 million to feel comfortable in the game.

[/ QUOTE ] The only people that play 200/400 regularly that sit in the FT Pot Limit Omaha and have 'at least 4 million' would be DB and PA... maybe Gus.. and I wouldn't doubt they have even that much

They may not have the bankroll but they definitely have the money. All these guys with the exception of Gold and Guy are top NLHE pros. There is no way they have made less from cash games then from tournaments so I could definately bet they could all bankroll themselves in this game.

[/ QUOTE ] All these guys are excellent cash game players, one person on Rounders the Poker show said Antonio may be the best NL player in the world at this point. Sam Farha wins in PLO and is probably the best in that also. Who in this lineup besides Gold and Guy doesn't win in Cash games???
