Default 20$ Rebuy on FT

Looking for some advice on this. Full Tilt 20$ Rebuy (205 entrant)

Blinds 80/160
Hereo 10,000t
Villain1 10,000t
Villian2 4,000t

Hero AQ UTG+2 Raise 3BB
Villian1 Min Raises 6BB
Villain2 Calls
Hero Raises ALL IN

I should mention that Villian1 has min raised me a couple times already in the tourn after rebuy period. I feel that he has a hand that he is trying to feel me out with and if I push all in he'll fold it. I should mention I'm about 27th in chips at this point with 105 people left (27 paid). Appreciate any comments.

I understand what you are trying to do, but can't you gain the same information by 4 betting to about 18 BB? if he comes over the top, there is no way that you can be any better really than a coinflip (unless villain is over aggro spewjob) I don't see him flat calling with many hands after 4bet. I only see him pushing or folding at that point. If he does shove, fold and leave yourself half your stack and battle back.

You could make your 4 bet smaller, but I feel like he might be tempted to play a pair like 55-99 for set value and flat call 4 bet. Leaving you OOP in a very large reraised pot.

actually, with a decent pocket pair or hands such as JJ,QQ or AK i can see him flat calling 4bet and then stop and go on flop.

actually AK might flatcall but thats kinda borderline IMO AK can also shove over it
hands like JJ QQ are Definantly Shove or fold
i dont see why anybody holding a JJ or QQ would just flatcall a 4bet

i agree in the part you should 4bet to about 18-20BB instead of shoving
and then i would fold to a shove

Thanks for the input...my thinking was I could push him off his hand, and worse case scenario if he called I would be in a race. This was correct. He held JJ (Villian2 called with 88 as well). I lost the race. If I had one I would have been chip leader in tourn. So I'm still not sure about my play. I mean I pushed him, if I take pot there I pick up almost 3k, if he calls then we race. But it was on him to call his stack off, pressure was on him not me. It's not like I'm looking to race everytime (was only 2nd race for me in tourn) but I was prepared to. I guess I'm wondering if this is a good philosophy or not.

Thanks

Villain 1's range is way too tight. I hate this.

Call pre which is only another 3bb, re evaluate on the flop. No reason to get 60bb in pre flop with a draw. V1 looks strong was he in early position ? You can still fold on the flop and have 9k left, your in great tourney position so call
