Default Loose call from bb against ep min raiser

No real reads on this guy, it's still fairly early in the game. This a satellite to the FTOPS Main Event. Winner gets seat, 2-4 gets cash. I know first response is just fold preflop, and normally I would. The only reasoning I can give you for the preflop call is I know I'm going to be heads up, and I guess after playing a few of these already I'm more willing to gamble a little to get chips. In any case it's a min raise which always makes the math an excuse and if I miss it'll be an easy muck.

I'm more curious as to what people think of my post flop play.

Flop I'd check-raise to 500, then check down the turn and river. You win/lose the about the same and can end it on the flop.

Fold preflop - what kind of flop do you want to see here?

In heads-up I would insta-muck this hand oop.

As played: lead the flop, you have a weak TP and a terrible draw-heavy board, so this might be your only chance to win this hand. I don't like the idea of c/r as your hand is simple too weak therefore.

Betting the turn as a scare-card appears is nice, but the bet-size is too low, if this bluff should be successfull you have to bet more - about pot-size.

river is a check behind, i don't see many hands that will call you that you can beat (AJ maybe).

If leading, how much looks optimal? 180-240?

I shove the river here. If for no other reason, not to show I am calling raises with J6.

ynnos,

I'd lead pot-sized here as the board is draw-heavy.
