Re: ** WSOP ME, $10,000 NLHE, Day 3, Thur., July 12 **
[ QUOTE ]
These chip count pages suck. Last night I saw my bro-in-law on the day 2b list. Today, I can't find him on day 3 list, either chip count or eliminated... Anyone seen Thomas Ross? [/ QUOTE ] That's because at the end of the night they're able to get everyone. The next day, you're back to relying on a limited resource (the reporters) trying to get chipcounts on a lot of people that are recognizable and a lot more players who aren't. Players get moved, tables get broken, and now you can't rely on starting seat charts to find out where nameless player got moved to get his chip count. Now, to make things worse, they made the money today and access to the players got ratcheted down even more. As the days wear on and the number of tables steadily goes down, getting chip counts on unknown players who aren't near the chip lead become more likely to show up regularly. |

[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] Hevad Khan Loses to Kings Hevad Khan raised 15,000. His opponent reraised to 55,000. Khan reraised to 120,000. His opponent moved all in for 278,500 total. Khan called. Khan: {A-Spades}{6-Clubs} Opponent: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts} The flop was {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and the river was the {A-Clubs}. Khan lost the pot and slipped to 500,000. [/ QUOTE ] Spewage, no? [/ QUOTE ] If Rain is LP and the reraiser is aggro not really, he's getting 2.5 to 1 at the end. [/ QUOTE ] LOL that better be one super-aggro opponent to be playing A-rag this way. [/ QUOTE ] If Rain is LP, guy to act after him knows he's very aggro so his 3bet range is wide, Rain knows this so makes a 4bet knowing most of that 3bet range will fold when he 5bets, guy shoves and now he's getting 2.5 to 1, meh. It could be super bad but I think it probably was something like that. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah. But from what STTF has seen, the thinking process was probably more like "ZOMG an Ace!!!" |
