From P5 this afternoon:

The tournament started a little late, and it was due to Steven "MrTimCaum" O'Dwyer. O'Dwyer (pictured right) came to his seating assignment only to find that someone had been seated in his seat. The tournament officials could not locate O'Dwyer's seat or his chips. After about 15 minutes, his chips were located as was his new seating assignment. The tournament was delayed about ten minutes due to the situation, but it hasn't seemed to bother O'Dwyer too much. On the first hand, he re-raised a player with pocket eights to take down a pot.

Also it looks like we might have had two more 2p2 in the field at the start of the day that I missed:

Peter Feldman: Nordberg: 289,700
Leo Wolpert: Superfluous Man: 61,400

Can someone confirm this is the correct Leo?

That is the right Leo, though P5's has reported him as being out.

Hevad Khan Loses to Kings

Hevad Khan raised 15,000. His opponent reraised to 55,000. Khan reraised to 120,000. His opponent moved all in for 278,500 total. Khan called.

Khan: {A-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Opponent: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}

The flop was {K-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and the river was the {A-Clubs}. Khan lost the pot and slipped to 500,000.

At last report Sponger was alive with 185k ish.

They're listing the bustouts know, so it's safe to assume that if we don't see our friends not cool enough to be updated about on those lists, they're still alive.

Feats of Strength
It's perhaps a bit surprising that this sort of thing doesn't happen more often, but still--the player at Table 24, Seat 3 moved all-in with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] and was called by Jimmy Blevins holding K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. The A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] flop gave both players a pair, but on the turn Blevins hit the K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] to make trips.

At which point the player facing elimination slammed his fist down on the table so hard that it made the chips on the table jump. And then, when the T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] hit the river and he knew he'd been eliminated, he LIFTED THE ENTIRE TABLE UP OFF THE GROUND and sent the chips and cards scattering all over the place.

The players were able to protect their chips to keep them from spilling into a great messy pile, and the player who lost the hand was quickly removed from the table. The security cameras caught the whole episode, and from what we've heard he's going to be paid out, and then escorted from the building. We're not mentioning his name because we want to make 300% sure we have the right name (the players at his table weren't sure) and we don't want to slander the innocent.

I'm rooting for Huck Seed; too bad no updates about his progress.
