Re: 200NL: AK BB vs. SB in 3-Bet Pot
I'd be worried about AT and TT you beat everything else but he could really have TT here. I think a check for pot control is ok, it also underreps your hand so you can get paid off from AQ, AJ, maybe KK or QQ.

[ QUOTE ]
I don’t want to give a free card to AQ, AJ. [/ QUOTE ] Why? Really worried about a three-outer with one card to come? I'm way more concerned about maximizing value from these hands. Bet/folding is horrible, this is a great board for AK blind vs blind. If we bet here, I feel like our hand is pretty face up and we allow Villain to get away from AJ and QQ. I think I check behind and shove over on a good river (any card lower than a 9 or any board pair). Our line will look so strange that opp might be tempted to call with KK/QQ. If Villain checks to us on river, obv, we bet. Actually, bet/calling is okay as it looks like our opp might have AQ and be ready to stack off. Whichever, IMO. |
