http://www.cbsnews.com/htdocs/pdf/poll_111307.pdf

Up to 8% in NH in latest CBS Poll, good for 4th place. Still lagging behind in Iowa at 4%, but tied with McCain. Fred Thompson should just drop out.

http://www.strategicvision.biz/polit...oll_111407.htm

5% in this Iowa poll. Seems to be a large anti Iraq war and anti Bush base to tap into.

I heard word at one point that RP was going to be excluded from the next debate... Has anybody seen any info about that?

When did you hear that? They were talking about that a long time ago, and then people were angry and they changed their minds. Is this new?

Seems like Ron Paul will be in the upcoming debates, was at some point talks of not inviting him to the December 4th debate in Iowa because they didnt want candidates that were polling under 5% in the state to participate, but Paul is now above that number and is therefore invited.

Ah ok. Yeah, I heard it a while ago but I never really saw an official confirmation or denial from RP's campaign or foxnews.

Edit: Ah, found it

Well, now that Ron Paul is over the threshold I'm all for it, gives him more time to speak (hopefully).

Yes, I am a biased hypocrite

The part about Ron Paul ending inflation seems pretty untrue. Abolishing the fed wouldn't necessarily mean no inflation, right?

or do you think there is a condescending tone to it like the fathers are giving the children a tongue lashing?

The ad says that the Founding Fathers warned of a Central Bank, but Alexander Hamilton was a Founding Father and was one of the biggest supporters of founding a national bank as well as being called the "Father of the National Debt" as he saw it as a blessing that the government owed money to the people.

If RP doesn't get the Republican nomination, can he still stay in the race for the general election as an independent?

I'm getting a hard-on just thinking about him debating HillaRudy while they agree on everything.
