upon further review, "take a chance on me" is an all time great scene for this show. i've watched it a dozen times today and can't stop cracking up. it was perfect.

I thought it was pretty obvious, but that wasn't what sucked about it. I mean, they made it seem like they were kidnapping the kid and holding him under their power. Any reasonable person would have just been walked out, not to the conference room. Maybe if they had Dwight forcefully drag him to the conference room and lock the door, it would have been better.

if I was this kid, I would totally sit int he conference room, and nto be working, it would be ridiculous to leave and go back to work when you have this as an excuse not to.

i'm watching it again right now, the Angela/Phyllis storyline didn't get enough love imo.

Edit: Another awesome small moment was how Kelly appears to be an expert on instant weight loss.

my wife and i were discussing how we really really hoped andy would bust out some acappella to woo angela, and when he started punching up the conference calls we both went crazy. incredible scene.

also, wife says that would work on her too. hmmm....

I watch at least two minutes of every episode peeking through my fingers as my hands cover my face because it is so awkward and inappropriate. It evokes an emotional response. We hate Michael Scott. Thus, Steve Carrell (and the writers) are doing a good job.

...for 30 seconds an episode (Creed, Kevin). If the show revolved around one of them, you'd be annoyed with them too (and probably bored silly). Not everything of their's would be gold. Kevin can't saying "If John Cougar Mellancamp wins an Oscar, I'm going to be a rich man." for 22 minutes every week.
