Default Re: If Ungar were still alive, how would he be doing?

He would have about 10 braclets at least and he would be in all the PAD shows with phil hellmuth. ESPN would always feature him and hellmuth and Matusow as well.
No one person can dominate at poker so that is about it..
Not sure if he would still play cash games (or need to)

Then he might say something like "Online Players really suck" and DS would find out and start a post which would have about 2000replies.

Hard to tell just because the game has changed SO much. As has been stated, he was an extremely aggressive player compared to all the nits that used to play. Now, aggressive style is the norm and people aren't afraid to make hero calls. His style would have done terribly during the golden age of poker because no one could lay down hands. Also, Doyle has said that his temper/tilt control rivaled Hellmuth's. Obviously he was a genious and could probably have adapated, but I don't think he would be at the pinnacle of the game like he used to be. Obviously his lack of bankroll management would be his biggest problem. Seeing him on High Stakes Poker would been awesome.
