set against Tag on wet board.
I know my turn betsize sucked. villain is TAG 18/15/5 over a big sample. He probably has me around 22/19/4. Comments on all streets appreciated.

Re: set against Tag on wet board.
If you are calling turn with the intention to stack off on any non heart river, you should push turn.

Re: set against Tag on wet board.
Just push AI on the turn. He could easily have a combo-draw or two pair here. If he turned the straight with 67 that's just bad luck, because he will probably play combo-draws and two pair the same on the turn.
I'm not sure if I like the call on the river. 34cc got there, 8cXc got there, 67 had you on the turn. Bet/fold is better here imo. Make a blocking bet of about 14. |

Re: set against Tag on wet board.
on the turn, i put his range: 67, 98, 22 (people do slowplay 22 on drawy flops alot). he's raising 88 pf, as well as overpairs. he's not playing A8/A9, etc this way. doubt he raised you with a flush draw on turn.
here's the thing though: there are more combos of 67 than 22 and 98 combined. |

Re: set against Tag on wet board.
How do you run 22/19 and not raise that [censored] up pf? This hand is soooo much easier if you'd done that. As played, turn sucks... I tend to shove if you think villain can be raising with JhTh, 4c3c, etc, but it is a limped pot... I would expect 67 to raise the turn more but you should have a decent read on what that raise size means from villain. As for calling the river... would he valuebet a straight here? The only hand I can really see you beating is missed hearts, but there are a lot more heart flush draws that villain would get there with than club draws so I think I like the river check/call as played, obv. depending somewhat on villian's river tendencies.

Re: set against Tag on wet board.
I like your line a lot better if you were the 18/15 and he teh 22/19.
That said he has 2 pair+ here almost always. Im not sure if hes playing for stacks on the turn so your line isnt that bad. As played on the river it needs to be a check/shobe/ |

Re: set against Tag on wet board.
I don't like to slowplay at that turn, so many crappy rivers.
I definitly 3-bet the turn. |

Re: set against Tag on wet board.
I'd raise pf. As played bet more on the turn and shove to the raise.
