I go to the Borgata every week and I bring my bag in no problem. It's not a true "backpack" but the guy sitting next to me had a Clive messenger bag and they let him in fine.

IIRC correctly it may be based on a short story. I've never read it myself, but it probably wouldn't be hard to find. Now the other quote floating around in this thread...that's from Fear and Loathing. That's based on a book. Seriously, you all should read the book....kids these days.
