Great. My sister just moved way west of Uni City...now I'm gonna have to pull an Escape from NY joint and fly up there in my invisible hydroplane.

Rendall is a piece of crap jackass. Pittsburgh hates him with a passion and it now seems Philly is starting to hate him.

I have never voted for a Republican Governor, but Lynn Swann's getting my vote this time around.

That article is an editorial from the Daily News, which is maybe a half step above the National Enquire.

There's a heat wave on now. When it gets hot in the city, people get angry and start shooting each other, no big deal.

In all seriousness, Philadelphia is a wonderful city with a ton of potential, but Street is a terrible, corrupt mayor. With that being said, I wouldn't pay much attention to an editorial from the daily news.

It was linked through on the Philly.com site, so I thought it might be a more legit editorial (figured it was pretty extreme, but still WTF)... btw does the Philly Daily News = NY Post? Or more tabloid-y?

The author asking for the national gaurd, or making references to Bush and the boarder, pretty much tell me that that is all a bunch of bullshite.

Quids - despite how extreme the editorial is, you wouldn't read an editorial in the NY Post or LA Daily News like this (at least I don't think you would).

It's probably pretty much equivalent to the NY Post - except we're talking 'bout Philly here, so that might make it a step below.

The odd thing is that the Inquirer and Daily News are published by the same company (hence the same website), they're just aimed at different demographics.
