UTG+1: $60.90
UTG+2: $28.30

MP2: $8.10
Hero (CO): $50

SB: $40.55
BB: $44.85
UTG: $8.75

Pre-Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $0.50, UTG+2 raises to $1, 2 folds, Hero calls $1, BTN folds, SB calls $0.75, BB calls $0.50, UTG+1 calls $0.50

Flop: ($5) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 bets $5 Hero...

UTG+2 running 30/10, others running 25/5 ish. Do I raise here, or call hoping to get some action from the 3 opponents behind.

I would just call. All your draws are to the nuts, so you'd like weaker draws to stay in.

In position, I just smooth call here. If one of the early position players reraises...I probably shove.

"smooth call" is so redundant. cant we just say "call"?

I'm usually for playing a draw this big fast, but with this many people in, the call seems better. After your call, a bad villian OOP will sometimes chase a gut shot.

UTG +2 obv has a hand and is trying to protect it IMO so you have no folding equity with a push.

You have 12 clean outs to win the hand, so you are a slight dog vs UTG+2 if the others fold. I'd call, but get it all in and embrace the variance if the others come over the top.

I prefer a raise here because if another club hits it's going to kill our action completely. There is not even the chance we could get some money from another big flush as only the J high FD could be out there and I guess good players could get away from that flush if it hits and there is a lot of action.
What do you think about this arguement?

I agree with this reasoning, but do we lose more value by raising out potential draws that the other three opponents might have by raising here? I'm not losing value on a turn club to UTG+2 due to stack size as he only has 20 dollars behind and depending on hand strength will get it in here with most decent holdings. But which has more value, getting it in against one opponent now or possibly more opponents chasing inferior draws. I see merit to both but I guess the overall consensus is call.
