Re: $16 - AK SV vs raise
[ QUOTE ]
Its to early for a flip and the Blinds are to low and you are to deep. [/ QUOTE ] This is awful advice. "It's too early for a flip" is a platitude not backed up by any sort of logic. There is +EV and -EV, there is not "too early for a flip". It doesnt exist. You will never become a winning player using only thoughts like this. I thinking reraising a random here is very +EV. I think we have solid equity vs. his range. I like a CRAI when he hit an A or K high flop, or when the board has two diamonds. |

Re: $16 - AK SV vs raise
That isn't exactly correct, it isn't like something is either +EV or -EV, there are degrees of each. IMO in most cases calling is more +EV than raising or shoving. If you shove most people will call you with a wide range of PPs which is just terrible for us. Unless we have them dominated with one shared card its just a bad spot that we can avoid by calling. You can get paid very often when you hit and don't give them chips every time they have AA/KK and go 50/50 when they have anything else.
