Default 100/200 I like to gamble

Full Tilt Poker
Pot Limit Omaha Ring game
Blinds: $100/$200
9 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $88896
UTG+1: $18985
MP1: $13861
MP2: $34299
MP3: $29491
CO: $11450
Button: $5497
Hero: $31518
BB: $30833

Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is SB with 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, 2 folds, MP3 raises to $900, CO calls, Button folds, Hero calls, BB raises to $4700, UTG+1 folds, MP3 raises to $17000, CO folds, Hero raises all-in $31518

I guess who likes this and who hates it? I have been experimenting with this concept and just wanted to see what everyones take was on the hand. I think both players have aces here 90%+ of the time, tho big blind could have KKxx or 9TJQ double suited some of the time.

if they both have aces as often as you think, then this is totally standard. If they might push a variety of hands then this is a gamble, but still can't ever be very wrong.

I would never fold here, but I don't see much value in reraising. Why not just call? You might be able to save half your stack if you completely miss the flop.

If they do both have Aces and you crush the flop then yo'll get action from one of them at most. So you were calling to out flop them if you just call.

Hate it, for two reasons.

The first problem with this play is that if they both have aces, BB will probably push it for you. Why alert him to the fact that he is in trouble? By pushing yourself, you give a really sharp BB a chance to get off his aces. It's a good fold.

The other reason to just call is that by flat calling, you give yourself a chance to get away from the hand on a horible flop. Usually you will be going all in on the flop of course, but if it's K 2 2 with no flush possibilities for you, you are very correct to dump it on the flop. On the other hand, if the flop is 4 5 8, the aces are still probably going to push, becuase they don't know if the flop hit you or not.
