Default Playing from a public computer?

Sorry, wrong forum, but I just don t get replies in the Computer Technical forum
--------------------
I m currently on a one month asian trip amd I m just dying to play a few hands.

Problem is, I could only do this by accessing my account from a public computer : never ever do it under any circumstances? possible but risky? doable without too much risk if I change my password at the end of every session?

Thx for advice
(u may add 'Bastard!!!' as an option eventhough this is not BBV...)

Depends on your risk tolerance, I suppose. Mine dictates that I will never play from a public computer, even in circumstances in which I may be jonesing to play and drunk enough to be amorous with a hippo at the local zoo.

This is the correct answer. If you do use a public computer, you should change your password on a secure machine as soon as possible.

While we're on this topic (hippo sex), what do you guys think of playing on public wifi connections? I usually avoid this because I know that anybody on the network could be logging every packet I transmit.

Is everything automatically encrypted by the poker software?

I always play both on public computers and public wifis. I dont have a steady connection at home. Of course people might catch your password etc, but nothing is safe in this world. If you make a more advanced mousetrap the mice get smarter you know.
