heh... must be nice

agreed. very well played. also straate berated me for calling his push today with JJ, while here he pushes with AK in a much worse spot. LOL.

[/ QUOTE ]

I could be wrong but he seemed prety tilty today. That said his play wasnt that bad, 97o however is probably a fold here.

to be honest, if rina is a donk super aggro maniac, it's not that bad.

[/ QUOTE ]

except for the fact that derek prob won't be squeezing anywhere near as light as possible w/ the fish in the hand. he is going to show up w/ something here.

[/ QUOTE ]

if hes getting 3 buyins in with 97o, i think hes squeezing far looser.

[/ QUOTE ]

heh, that's true obv. but i doubt he assumes the fish is going to call 50bb cold w/ 9 high then call off another 150bb more all preflop.

i don't really think there was much he could do to get away from AK here either but i would have been really careful if I was deeper w/ AK there...like even 150bb deep.

any reason Straate raised to half his stack and didn't shove? I imagine it's to look stronger but I don't like it.

Any reason why I'm pretty sure straate is a better player than I am (possibly by a wide margin) and yet every datamine I've ever seen has him down tens of thousands of dollars?

Don't flame Straate in this hand he played it fine. He's going to have to call off the last 1K getting 5:1 unless Number2pencil is literally the most predictable player ever and only only only pushes AA preflop. If Number2pencil pushes AA and KK its still a call albeit close.

he has an easy fold against the reraise and it's not close. look at the stacks, the players, and the action.
