A hand like this is too hard to play postflop against a raise.

It's about 50/50 against the top 15% and 20% of o/8 hands according to hand evaluators. However you never know where you're at - IE the hand simulator has you winning with AA for high a ton of times when you can't call his pot size bets with 3 low on the board even though you're leading for high with 1 pair.

Of course this is no good in PLO8 except with real shallow money. We are playing FLO8 here though.

Reverse implied odds are too grim. Maybe against a weak-tight, passive opponent you could play this profitably, but that's more or less because you could play any 4 profitably against some players, not because this hand is playable per se.

If you know this guy is likely to have an A2xx hand (less likely b/c you have 3 As) then I like playing it. Otherwise who knows where you're at, seems like folding/raising both have reasonably close equity.

I think the best thing to do is slide one of the aces up your sleeve and muck the rest. It bound to be a hand where you win a little or lose alot. Its crippled from the start.

Hero ???

[/ QUOTE ]Betgo - Fold and wait for a better starting hand. Give UTG+1 some credit for probably having a more decent, playable hand than you and a corresponding better chance of finding a fit with the flop. Note that UTG+1 has position on you.

Fold. You have one out to a set, no low, and only a KQJ board with no flushes will save you.
