I had the TV on mute but did Daniel Negreanu say Kido Pham made a call when Negreanu was not even in the hand? Seems sketchy to me, he needs to STFU if he does not have cards.

These "pros" play like [censored].

Smooth flat-call with AA against a raise and a re-raise daniel. Seriously, give a free flop away to have him crack your hand.

The K7 "call", Kido should know better.

The AT fold by JC, against a tilting Kido, this is a snap call and race with your stack.

The AQ all in by daniel against a tight solid player. Genius idea.

How about daniel with the T9s call for a large chunk of his chips? Pretty horrible even worse the guy who made a standard raise, just ship it in you're too short. Also once it got to 3 handed you can't make anything but an all in raise. I didn't like the 999 hand. The guy bet the flop, which is good since dn is a calling station, I would have then checked the turn because dn likes to bet the turn after a flop bet/turn check.

I can understand Daniel's call with AA, he was up against an aggressive player, and he didn't want to lose him early. Of course, it's kinda hard to conceal your hand when you smooth call a 3bet pre-flop.

As for Kido Pham, he got what he deserved, I wish Jamie Golds of the poker world would trip themselves up more often like that.

As for Bryan Sumner, who could've guess that he was an accountant? Sounds like he could almost benefit from Kido Pham's favorite charity's work.

This was one the worst final tables I've ever seen. Nice structure WPT. :eye roll

Yeah, Pham's deal with the K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]-7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] was his own fault. Why would you ever say the words "I call" in a sentence out loud when contemplating action at the table?

That blind structure reminded me of the local free bar tournament *ahem* "circuit".

I think Daniel said "that sure sounds like a call to me" when Kido said "this is your last chance, in 3..2..1 I will call it". This was after trying to get the AQ guy to tell him what to do, so everyone knew he meant he would decide what to do rather then a call, but I still thought they made the right decision to enforce the call.
Agree that Daniel should have kept his mouth shut unless someone asked him what he heard.

I was fine with Daniel's play with the aces.

Kido got to be a little much. I feel for him and his family with the autism issue but it gets to be a bit disingenuous to go on about how you need the money and you want to start a charity and all that and then play like a complete nit. If it is that important, play smart and really make an effort to go after the 900K.

Good for Bryan. Seems pretty mellow, didn't go nuts when he didn't catch cards early on and had a nice lead going to HU's.

I don't think you understand what a nit is.
