Default Recent most lopsided MLB trades.

I was reading the newspaper today and did not realize this lopsided trade was made. Have there been more lopsided trades recently? The trade I read about was AJ Pierzynski for Boof Bonser, Joe Nathan and Francisco Liriano. This trade, along with very good draft scouting, has been responsible for the Twins recent success.

Thank you,

Jim Kuhn

These two were pretty bad both in 1997...

The Oakland Athletics trade first baseman Mark McGwire to the St. Louis Cardinals for pitchers T.J. Matthews, Blake Stein, and Eric Ludwick.

The Tampa Bay Devil Rays trade outfielder Bobby Abreu to the Philadelphia Phillies for shortstop Kevin Stocker.

I'm pretty sure Clemens was a FA the next year.
However David Wells for Mike Sirotka who never pitched an inning in the MLB after the trade.
