NL200; KK on a paired flop
Villain is Saggy_Home, a huge donk on Party. Plays 43/9/2.3, WTSD 26, W$SD 44, W$SF 45.
I've been playing sLAG 26/22/3.5 and have been isolating him a lot. He floats a lot and gives me about 0 respect. Earlier this hand happened. $1/$2 No Limit Holdem 4 players Converted at weaktight.com Stacks: CO ($46.55) Hero ($704.59) SB ($200.00) BB ($190.25) Pre-flop: ($3, 4 players) Hero is BTN A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 1 fold, Hero raises to $8, 1 fold, BB raises to $14, Hero raises to $37, BB calls $23 34.80% (EV = -$10.90) 65.20% (EV = $11.90) Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($75, 2 players) BB bets $65, Hero raises to $216, BB goes all-in $88.25 46.90% (EV = $25.67) 53.10% (EV = $19.90) Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($444.25, 2 players) 61.40% (EV = $234.24) 38.60% (EV = $171.48) River: 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($444.25, 2 players) 100.00% (EV = $381.50) 0.00% (EV = $0.00) Final Pot: $444.25 BB shows: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Hero shows: A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] BB wins $379.5 ( won +$189.25 ) Hero wins $62.75 ( lost -$190.25 ) $1/$2 No Limit Holdem 5 players Converted at weaktight.com Stacks: UTG ($372.85) CO ($144.20) BTN ($174.80) Hero ($299.39) BB ($293.95) Pre-flop: ($3, 5 players) Hero is SB K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG raises to $4, 2 folds, Hero raises to $16, 1 fold, UTG calls $12 Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($34, 2 players) Hero bets $24, UTG calls $24 Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($82, 2 players) Hero checks, UTG bets $22, [b]Hero ? Re: NL200; KK on a paired flop
1: 3bet size no good
2: 18-20 is better pf, the only way I'm folding is if I lead the turn and/or river and got raised. |

Re: NL200; KK on a paired flop
1- 4-bet to like...$55. against donks, i dont mind making it larger either.
2- i like b/f-ing turn more. i suppose call and see what river brings. |

Re: NL200; KK on a paired flop
I always feel like bet/folding the turn in hand two isn't a very good play, but when I call down it isn't great either. I think b/f is better though because I tilt like crazy when it checks (or I c/c correctly) to see him hit his 2outer or flush on the river. Plus some floats got there and he can look us up with air. From the first hand it seems like he'd say HEY I HAVE A JACK if he had one on the flop.

Re: NL200; KK on a paired flop
i like c/r'ing this turn a ton -- i assume that you're not considering folding too often, so c/r and getting it in seems really good. i'd expect to see a naked Q or Qxss as often as i see a jack from this opponent.
typically i'll bet this turn though, depending on very recent history i'll decide if i'm b/c or b/f |
