Minny doesn't have a first round draft pick to trade...they gave it to the Clippers during the Cassell trade.

I hope he ends up in Minnesota. The Wolves would likely have to give up Blount and Jaric to make things work under the cap, along with Foye. Not having a first rounder is gonna make it tough to entice the Sixers to accept, but Billy King has never been known as shrewd.

I think the Bulls could give up the most if they went after him. Lots of desirable young players, and PJ Brown for cap filler. Brown + Ben Gordon + Ty Thomas works under the cap and is probably better than anything Minnesota can offer?

So what are the chances Billy King screws this up? They aren't even playing A.I. so this will probably happen in a couple of days.

Iverson is making 18.2 mil this season and the Sixers are way over the cap so they have to match up salaries. Minny doesn't really have anything I would want. I don't know how they would pull it off without a 1st round pick which is more valuable then most years since the draft class is so deep this year.

They would probably have to take Nene's contract in a Denver deal which I would not want at all.

I like the Chicago Brown + Thomas + Gordon and a 1st rouder.

Boston has some young players and good contracts that could match up with Iversons. I think he would be in Boston now if the team wasn't up for sale this summer.

The Lakers could offer Odom + Bynum and maybe Mihm.

At least with Iverson gone they have a chance to land Greg Oden now.

"Jim Gray, reporter for ESPN, announced on the air that Iverson told him in a telephone interview Friday that he was heading to Minnesota. He came back on the air soon after to say that he had been "duped," admitting, "I was talking to an imposter.""

[/ QUOTE ]I know that you're probably just saying this because it makes sense from the 76ers perspective, but theres no way this happens imo. The Lakers are very happy right now imo, and they're not giving up those 2 players unless they get a dominant big man in return such as Garnett.
