I remember reading about kids getting kicked off sports teams and banned from prom and even suspended for being at a party where there was underaged drinking. Not for drinking, but for being there. Fascism is fun.

this is totally standard. the school doesn't want their name used on a website where drinking is condoned. The school is informing parents on the issue. If I were a parent of one of these kids, I'd be glad to get the letter so I could knock the [censored] out of my kid. They make a good point of future employers and colleges googling kids before hiring or accepting them. Plus, how [censored] dumb do you have to be to go on a web site, post your identitiy (name and school) and then admit to doing something illegal.
