the Sabres got lucky in the last 20 seconds, that is all. for a 6 seed the Rangers have massively exceeded expectations.
also, wtf is with the soft penalty calls in playoff overtime? both calls (the one on Drury and the hooking on the Rangers) looked very questionable to me. it was a hell of a game... let them play...

[/ QUOTE ] Nice, give Buffalo 4 cups for exceeding expectations from 97-99 & '06. Agree both ot calls were weak. I don't think the old system of completely neglecting the rules in OT is better though.

couldn't believe the sabres gave up the goal, couldn't believe they scored - and then afinogenov. what a series. rangers' trap is really slowing the sabres down, but i'm not sure they can come back from this.

what a game...I was 10 rows up from Drury on the final goal it was [censored] insane....
....hats off to Lundquist...he is [censored] sensational...a 2nd straight late goal he gave up to tie it up....but this one counted... thank god... ...and Max coming off the schneid to pot the winner...wow wow wow....18690 inside and another 5000 outside complete bedlam.... ...this has to crush the Rangers....8 seconds away from holding the series and the clutchiest of clutch Drury hammers it home.... ...great great game... Sabres controlled the tempo the entire time...Rangers could do nothing except throw Lundquist at them.... ...9 more to go!!!
