Beat me to it. When I go to the Preakness each year, Natty Bo is definitely part of the festivities.

This stuff is somewhat palatable and ridiculously cheap, in Baltimore at least.

I'll drink any beer, as long as it isn't made out of rice.

Barley + Hops + Water + Yeast = Beer

Is my standard cheap beer

Is my choice for greatest bang for your buck. I find that steel reserve comes with many side effects though, one of which is time travel.

If I'm going to drink cheap beer (which is like always) I got for whatever the cheap local is. PBR in PA, Natty Boh in B-more, Reingold in NY, Iron City in Pittsburgh and my all time favorite, Schaeffer anywhere I can find it. It's usually cheaper AND better than things like the major brand stuff (even though most of the major brand companies own and brew the locals)

hmm, I'm not sure what a case of Lionhead bottles is going for now. Last year I think I picked a case of 24 longnecks up for $12. I didn't mind it at all.

Other cheaper beers - PBR, Busch
If in South Africa, Castle, Lion (I wish SAB would release here - too many competitors in the market though)

American/American Light (made by Pittsburgh Brewing Co.) is about 10 bucks or less a case, not too bad of a taste after the first one.

Haffenreffer's if I can find it; Olde English 800 if I can't.

If I'm not in a 40 oz/malt mood, Schlitz or Carling's Black Label.

PBR, around me you can buy a 30 pack for $14. great deal.

I think it tastes better than Bud/Coors/Miller, and is a lot cheaper.

it's obv. better than Busch or any other mass produced budget beer at similar price points.

anything cheaper is just pure garbage that is fine for college drinking games but nothing else
