Default No Limit player looking to learn. Typical mistakes?

Is there anything in particular that you guys feel is just a dead giveaway that an opponent is primarily a no limit player out of his depth at limit? Say youīre sitting at one of your regular games and an unknown takes a seat. What would make you realize that this guy (or gal) is used to the no limit format and how will you exploit this?
Like title says - what are the biggest, and most typical, mistakes that no limit players trying to learn limit will make?
I saw Dean make a post on 2+2 once where he said how great it was when no limit players sat down at his games and he then gave the reasons why....but I canīt find that post. I remember one reason was that they (we) kept missing bets and I agree on that. Am working on it though.

One thing I tend to do is to fire far too many bullets with AK/AQ unimproved for instance. I play low limits and when I donīt meet resistance on a dry board with one of these hands I just fire away. Managed to spew away 150 BBīs yesterday and it seems that this was one of the main reasons. Also I would call down with ppīs with an overcard on the flop too often because an opponent donked into me and I thought "well he would checkraise with top pair right, gotta at least call. Itīs only 3 bets...."

But itīs so much fun.

EDIT: And Iīm not "moving" exactly. More like looking to add another game to my arsenal, and actually be good at it.

yeah can't argue with that.

No-limit players is often raising and betting to much and doesn't call enough. If I find a nl-player at a limittable I sit on his left and play like a passive fish and let him spew into me.

Yup sounds like me, need to learn to turn down the agression in the right (or wrong) spots. I really do spew.

I might be isolating to liberally as well when there are players whom I consider weak limping in early position. Will raise K9s, QJos and other holdings that maybe I shouldnīt. It just feels so wrong to limp

You'll be folding way way too much when you start out esp. postflop and in blind steal/defense.

Best advice is to post hands.

I find that most of them play too loose with low PP and SC preflop and miss alot of bets on the river. I think it varies alot on how loose they play the flop and turn. Some guys seem to play too loose overestimating the price they are getting, and some guys fold too much in big pots cause they are used to folding more often postflop in NL. Another thing I notice is that they seem to play more aggressively with bluffs postflop and play less aggressive with good hands that should be raised.

I am in the same boat. I started out in NL and added LHE because it's fun.

Most common mistakes:

-Too aggressive (raises to much and folds to much)
-Folds winners too much
-Overvalues implied odds
-Doesn't recognize hidden outs
-Misses value bets
-Plays fit-or-fold on the flop when somebody 3bets him pf.

I've recently changed my game a little, mostly after advice from folkes on this forum. I was playing too tight and aggressive. After loosening up and letting people bluff into my middle pair/dreadful kicker I've been amazed at the crap people spew chips with.
