Why aren't you betting the turn? If he called you on the flop, he will call a bet again on a blank turn. You are missing some value there.

Betting the river when 4 cards to a straight + a flush draw that just came in < Betting the turn with top two on a board where you can get a call from a lot of hands that you have crushed
