Villain is giving me such good odds, but am I even good here enough to justify a call?

People do love to donkbet when the board pairs, but unless this is a desperation bluff with a busted draw, it's hard to see how you're good here given that the ambush turn raise didn't drive Villain away.

So, readless, I would probably grudgingly fold. In addition to the clubs, there is a wheel draw on the turn (and some plain old gutshots, but I'm discounting those), so maybe it's a little closer than it looks on first glance. But it does look like the river ruined your hand.

Fold the flop. You really only have 3 outs that are going to make you feel comfortable calling a turn bet.Any non club 2 or 3. As played fold the river you beat nothing at all. These arnt mini bets on each street this is a dollar per street. I am reasonably sure that this guy has Jacks up at worst and is not going to fold.

fold preflop (your call is really really bad), fold flop, turn is fine, river i call, cause he could minbet a missed club-draw, and you have to be ahead only around 15%.

This guy has been raising my bb alot and I got tired of giving it up. Against someone who does not raise my bb alot its an insta muck. Regardless, I got to the flop the way I did. I called his flop bet b/c a c-bet in a BvB does not mean he has anything. If I call the flop and he checks turn I am taking it away from him a ton.

I think the flop call is fine versus an aggressive stealer (I mean, you probably have the best hand), but that assumes Villain won't keep firing if he missed or will start making weak bets (and unfortunately, it sounds like we don't know).

I understand what you're saying about preflop, but keep in mind that except for the fact that you're suited, you are holding the worst possible HU hand in terms of hot-and-cold equity.

So I'd probably wait for something at least a little stronger before taking a stand. Or, as an alternative, I would 3-bet to $3 or so and see how Villain responded to that.

against a stealer you should resteal. so 3bet preflop (the best possibility) or raise flop or raise turn. but just calling him down with bottom pair / worst kicker won't really help.

but in general: let him just steal your blind. it's the better solution on NL25. take a stand from time to time, but take it with a better hand (89s or stuff like that). and don't overdefend your blinds.

Well, I did raise the turn, but I see that this is not the spot to defend, and if I am going to, I should 3 bet here.

I think he would bet more on the turn with a jack with the draw out there.

I think he has a missed draw 16% of the time, call and make a note.
