There is supposed to be no eating on the Poker Room floor at all, there is a deli attached as someone already pointed out. I saw a guy go nuts over another eating pretzels at the table, and someone else wanted to "call the floor" on a guy with an apple. Its better to just run to the deli and grab something quick.

If someone goes nuts over pretzels at the table that same person will go ballistic over a candy bar, or any similar potentially sticky item. Definitely better to just get up for a few minutes and miss a hand or two.

Definitely better to try to eat beforehand, but sometimes I will bring a protein shake with me. No need to give the nits reason to complain.

I remember that we can eat during the tourneys when I went during the world poker finals. I remember well because there was free food, & I like free food !
