Very nice lineup. Matusow + DN = comedy gold mine. Very entertaining first EP; looks like Matusow's luckbox was in full effect. I wonder if he can keep it up.

I totally agree.. I was literally cringing. Can't someone make him stop??? Maybe they could limit his voice-overs to just the left speaker so that I can filter it out. I think they should just let Shana do the occasional voice-over when needed.

Plus, he started talking over the part where matasow and david grey were going over some big online pot between patrick antonius and david benyamin..

Anyone have the details on that hand they were discussing?

Yeah, it might be a bad idea to tell a poker audience that you think stories about poker hands are boring.

because it's fun, he can afford to, and he gets to be on tv?

i'd be doing the same thing if i was a gazillionaire. i'd actually look like i was having fun while i was donking off chips, though.

Agree that the commentator is getting worse and worse.

When he wasn't talking over the players they were making some interesting talk. Was that Antonio Esfandiari they were talking about not being able to lay down a hand in no limit but making big lay downs in limit?

Also some talk about Ivey's crushing Andy Beal for 14 mil and how lucky they were. Was hoping Doyle would talk about that a bit.

Yeah. It's called Methamphetamine or llello (but more likely Meth). Anyone who has spent any time around addicts or users can usually spot them pretty quick; the first thing I said to my fiancee last night was "Matusow is high as a kite". Meth is becoming more and more common around poker rooms where players are taking it to keep mental edges over longer sessions (Which it DOES do beautifully for some people...)

I agree that this announcer is H O R R I B L E with a capital Whore. I think week 2 is about fifteen-bajillion times better than week 1. Why ever they started with the douchebags for week 1, ill never know. Talking about making a crappy first impression...
