The point is if you actually had to pay for something you'd probably appreciate it more.

I didn't price the 3 series in 2004, when we bought our X5, but I'm very certain that they didn't have 'lawnmower engines' back then, since the 3 series that my brother in law had at the time ran well and had great pickup - 14 second 0-60, LOL. His was WAY quicker than that, not as quick as the 335, but it was still fast enough.

You should just admit that you're a BMW hater and get it over with. You're not adding anything to the thread except your expertise at driving a Barbie Mobile, which you wrecked in a ditch doing 45.

I'm the one who initially chose the car. It had a 1.9L 4 cylinder.

HOW is that not a lawnmower engine?
