Watering the pitch at half-time?
Watching the Real - Betis match...
They come back for a shot of the Bernebeu at half-time and two big sprinklers are running at each end of the pitch (inside the area). By the looks of it, this could be a live shot, or one on tape from just before the game. Are they watering the pitch at half-time? Is there a reason they'd do that? I've never seen it before. |

Re: Watering the pitch at half-time?
Never heard of watering a pitch at half-time. I'd assume it's a stock shot. Was there a crowd in the shot?

Re: Watering the pitch at half-time?
Last weekend at halftime of the ManU Chelsea match they showed sprinklers on the pitch. Not sure if it was a live shot or not though.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah there was a significant crowd in the background (enough to make me think there were a bunch gone to the washroom, or that people were still filing in before the match). They were also taking a big advertisement off the center circle. |
