Default Busted Staight draw but worth a river bluff?

Villian is 30/18/4.5 over 45 hands. I don't think I bluff nearly enough especially on the river and this seems a good spot. Not sure what to make of turn and river bets. Is the 1/4 pot turn bet small enough to almost be a check? Do I pull the trigger here? how much? and why? Could/should I have fired a shot on the turn?

This may in fact be a garden variety spot. But I read so many posts of the can I call here variety and am keen to hear some thoughts on how I can pick bluff spots to vary my game. I believe I'm a little to ABC ATM. I'm a bit of a newb but solid and I think this is where my game should pick up.

If he checked here i still don't really love a bluff... these kinds of weak leads on the river are weak but they seem to end up calling a raise anyway making blufing bad.

If you want to pick up your aggression you should focus on taking stab at small uncontested pots. Try betting when the PFR checks or maybe floating him every once in a while.

The guy bet 2.50 on the turn, he probably just doesn't understand bet sizings. I imagine he's pretty strong here and is calling a raise.
