Default When to Stop&Go/Go&Go vs. shoving

I understand both concepts and use both randomly in moderately short stacked situations. Is there hand holdings/situations that should dictate which play?

For example, should you use the go&go when you have only a moderate hand (i.e. KQ) and want to prevent marginally better hands (i.e. A10) from seeing all 5 cards? Or should you use the go&go when you have a stronger hand and you want to maximize value? Or both?
